White Pine was set up in 2018 with a desire to raise environmental awareness through the demonstration of sustainable practices. This ethos begins with the name – the White or Weymouth pine tree symbolises peace – which represents the culture they hope to instil in their vegan cafe. As well as Scandinavian-inspired items such as cosmetics, they sell a range of plant-based sandwiches, snacks, juices and smoothie bowls, with an emphasis on food which is healthy but also nutritious. In keeping with their Nordic theme, they have used plants alongside other relaxing decorative elements to create an atmosphere of the Danish/Norwegian tradition of Hygge. This approach concentrates on building feelings of cosiness and comfort, making this a soothing place to enjoy a tasty vegan meal.

- Sean PhillipsA beautifully laid out coffee shop which also sells luxury candles, some self care and fantastic looking plants. It was a very relaxing place to enjoy a coffee.
- Missantoswe got a strawberry and mango protein shakes, we both gym rats so you can judge. we can choose the milk of our preference! smells so good inside as they sell candles and home fragrances too, very cozy!
- Georgina TangVery nice staff, shout out to the friendly white girl last night. There was a tiny confusion between me and my friend and she handled it so well! It wasn't her fault but she said it is and offered free snacks. I obviously said no but it made my day❤️
- Amanda CrossStopped by early morning to pick-up a couple of coffees and pastries and were clearly given stale pastries leftover from the day before (hard as a rock). Pretty shocked a cafe like this would try and pull this over on its customers! Not even cheap supermarket bakeries would stoop so low.
- Alex RousouThe barista (/owner?) was super friendly and talked me through how they make their drinks. He guaranteed the chocolate protein shake (vegan version) was delicious and he wasn’t wrong. Would have licked the glass if I was out of sight. It was very expensive though £7.50
