The name Mallow comes from an edible plant that is native to Great Britain. All of its parts can be eaten, making it a fitting namesake for this entirely plant-based restaurant set within the bustling Borough Market in London. It is the food market’s first 100% vegan restaurant and is perfectly located to take advantage of the plethora of food on offer there. Many of the ingredients used at Mallow are sourced from the market itself, with others coming from sustainable local businesses where possible, ensuring that their operation has minimal impact on the environment. The menu was created by Head of Food Development Sarah Wasserman, a highly experienced plant-based chef with a passion for crafting exceptional vegan food full of vibrant colours and extraordinary flavours. Breakfast, brunch, lunch and evening meals are all served there, so their food can be enjoyed throughout the day. Inspired by cuisines from around the world, the options are incredibly varied, making Mallow a unique place to visit.

- Mira L.I celebrated my birthday here and had the best time! First of all, the food was delicious (always is) - I had the English breakfast and the French toast and loved both. Especially the French toast was like nothing I’ve had before and if I could have this every morning, I would. The brunch cocktails were amazing and I loved the birthday cake - reminded me a bit of Viennetta, top tier! Mallow also gave me a card and complimentary truffles and generally speaking, everyone was so lovely and accommodating. If you’re considering celebrating your birthday here, do it!
- Troy BoieMy husband and I have frequented Mallow on several occasions, and it's undeniably secured a spot in our top three favorite restaurants. Here's why: Firstly, the culinary experience at Mallow is nothing short of spectacular, both in taste and presentation. Each dish is a testament to the chef's prowess and creativity, making every meal a memorable one. Secondly, its location is incredibly convenient, being a mere five-minute stroll from London Bridge. This proximity adds to its appeal, making it a perfect spot for both impromptu and planned dining adventures. Thirdly, the ambiance of Mallow is as delightful as its menu. With an interior that radiates elegance and charm, the staff's warmth and the vibrant presence of the host, Bianca, elevate the dining experience. Her energy and hospitality make every visit more special. Lastly, a piece of friendly advice to anyone planning to visit: secure a reservation whenever possible to ensure your spot. And no matter how satisfying the meal, always save room for dessert. Their sweet offerings are the perfect end to what is guaranteed to be a fantastic dining experience.
- Peter ØstergaardThis is a great experience. My wife and I went there on a Tuesday morning for breakfast. The service, the food and the ambience is simply great. Especially the porridge we had to start with is a must-have. Better than any porridge I have tasted before. Will come back when possible.
- Michelle H.Delicious plant based, all vegan food right next to the Holy Trinity Church! I mean, What else could you ask for? We had a tasty and filling brunch with a view to the shakespeare church. The service was excellent, the prices are a bit high but to be honest it was totally worth it. If you come here: try the french toast it is superb!
- Olivia MercedezI'm smitten with the location. The inside/decor was bright and lovely. The food was good but it didn't blow us away. We ordered the full English and black forest pancakes. For the price, I was expecting the English breakfast to have at least a little bigger of portions. I know London is expensive but I saw bigger portions at other restaurants for less. The sausage was flavourful and the bread was very good. The pancakes were moist and fluffy. The cream, chocolate and fruit complemented the pancakes nicely.
