Plant-based outfit The Fields Beneath opened back in 2012 but didn’t become a fully vegan eatery until 2017. Since then, they have developed a unique menu made using whole foods that are obtained from local and British sources where possible. As well as wholesome vegan food, their other two focuses are great coffee and fine wine. The single origin coffee served at their London establishment is sourced directly from Luzma, a Colombian who took over her uncle’s Costa Rica farm some 20 years ago. This provides The Fields Beneath with an excellent supply of top quality beans from a provider with whom they have a direct connection and can be sure is farming them in the right way. Meanwhile, their wines are taken from a small group of importers who make sure that they are produced naturally. This means that they are made through the use of organic or biodynamic farming methods, with very few additives and sometimes none at all, making for a much cleaner drinking experience. For the true wine connoisseurs, they offer a wine tasting event once a month.

- Louise ArvidssonAn absolutely gorgeous little cafe. I cannot rate the staff any higher! I have very specific food intolerances and the owner/manager was incredibly patient and didn't make me feel like I was being a bother. She made a slight change to my dish so I could be confident I'd be okay eating my meal, which was fresh and delicious. Worth the visit! :)
- The vegan beeLovely vegan cafe under the bridge, perfect for trolls and vegans alike. The staff were all lovely and recommended to us their sweet & savory sandwiches. They were both pretty great but we particularly enjoyed their chimichurri bagel sandwich. Great latte and smoothie as well. They also sell many items such as their own branded tote bags & tea towels, books, and novelty maps of London. Generous selection of wine and snacks on sale as well! 🧌
- JMan WarhamReally nice little venue. COLD OUTSIDE IN MARCH 2024! Sat and had a coffee. Strong coffee, what I'd call 'Turkish Blend' I had flat white, my partner a Chai Latte. The food looked good, so I'll rate it. Seemed to be a popular cafe with cyclists , locals and commuters next to Camden Road Overground station. My partner made use of the loose so I assume on the ground level, as she has some mobility issues.
- Lucy BlackThis was my second visit. I live outside of London but if this place was closer it would be my favourite hangout! Delicious coffee, sandwiches and pastries and lovely, friendly servers. I had a cappuccino and a smoky mushroom and celeriac remoulade sourdough baguette - so good!
- Samuel GarciaMy vegan wife says the croissant was delicious. No complaints. 100% vegan / plant based
