- Theresa KimGreat selection of vegan soups. Not overly priced for a much better product. Frankly, I should just get lunch here all of the time since it's probably healthier than everything else in the area. I am also thrilled to support a women-owned business in the area.
- Krissy DavisI am vegan and only like creamy soups which can often be hard to come by, well not for Soupergirl! I tried there pureed creamy Pumpkin and Mushroom soup and it was amazing! Can't wait to try more!
- Ari RothWas trying to find kosher places in DC. Found this place and decided to try it out. Was super happy with my choice. The soups were amazing, the salads were interesting and fresh, and the sandwiches were also really good. Was perfect for me before heading to the airport on the way out of town. Thanks Soupergirls! :)
- Tina B.Small, clean space that's take-out only. They have 3-4 fresh soups made, and offerings change daily. (They also have salads and bread, but I haven't tried those.) I'd like to go to this place more often, to support a local vegetarian restaurant, but $6.64 for a medium pot of soup just seems like a bit of an indulgence.
- Aarti BansalThe soups and salads here are SOUPER healthy and delicious! I usually get the $10 small soup and salad combo at the farmers markets at White House (Thurs) and at City Center (Tue). When the farmers markets are closed during the winter, I trek all the way to the brick and mortar location at Dupont Circle. I love the variety of soups and salads, they rotate every week. You can't go wrong with any flavor. I tried at least a dozen different soups and salads and can't think of one that I didn't like. The lentil soup and pureed butternut squash are my favorite while I love the kale date salad. The salads are good in the refrigerator for a couple of days while the soups keep well for a week. The soup and salads are also very healthy and filling. I get pretty full after having a small soup, great way to cleanse your body (much better than smoothie cleanses). Lots of nutrients with little carbs and no sugar. As a tip, on Tuesdays at the Takoma/Dupont Circle stores, you can get a free soup or salad if you spend $25 and get a stamp for every $10 you spend.
