- Ana Luiza D.Went to Elizabeth’s for the first time to celebrate my birthday. It was an amazing experience! The place is so nice and romantic, and service was excellent from start to end, including our waiter, Elizabeth herself, and the sommelier. We ordered the caviar and it was delicious, definitely worth the add-on! The menu was well-constructed and all of the dishes were so good by themselves and as a whole. The potato dish was so flavorful and yet so comforting, the truffle pasta was delicious, and the main course was surprising. We didn’t go with the pairing as I often feel like it’s too much wine for me, but I was happy to see that they have a half pairing option. I’m always excited to see a vegan fine dining place that’s so good and with a good crowd there! I’d happily bring by non-vegetarian friends here and I’m sure they would love it! The only downside worth mentioning is that although I was full by the end of the meal, my partner was still hungry (and we had ordered the caviar in addition to the prix fixe)
- Suhey OrtegaDined at Elizabeth's for my birthday dinner and it was an amazing experience! The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable about each dish. Each dish was appealing to all senses and was an experience on its own! My favorites were the garlic truffle pasta and the Passion fruit sorbet palate cleanser. It was also admirable to see the owner work alongside her staff. We found out from the bartender downstairs that their fixed tasting menu changes every few months and that is more of a reason to stop by more than once a year!
- Toronto Real Estate Agent - Karen LawIncredible! That's how I would describe my experience at Elizabeth's Gone Raw 😊👌🏼 Delicious dishes that were beautifully flavourable, well balanced exceptional cocktails (and I'm quite particular with cocktails! I ordered a few different cocktails and they were all amazing), nice quiet ambiance which I prefer, and the wait staff were all super attentive & friendly. The sommelier was also very friendly and made great recommendations for pairings. I would recommend the extra caviar dish: it tastes just like real caviar. We were super impressed!! There were only two minor things to note however they didn't take away from the overall dinner all at: the vegan cheese dish was the best vegan cheese I have had. That being said, if you're used to real dairy cheese, please know that vegan cheese does not taste like regular dairy cheese (you'll want to set your expectations right). And the ice cream part of the dessert was delicious - the cake part of the dessert was surprisingly a little dry on the inside....not sure if that was intended but it's all good as I just mixed it with the ice cream 😅 In any case, I will absolutely be back to dine here again when I'm in Washington!
- Rija MasoodI took my friend here for her birthday. It was our first time. The entire experience was incredible!! We met Elizabeth, the owner, who was very sweet, professional, and busy on the floor, working alongside her staff. The hostess was very sweet. The server was very courteous and knowledgeable about the details of each course, which topped the whole experience. The set menu was paired really well. The kale chips and the cheese board were phenomenal (not part of the fixed menu). The pumpkin soup, the mushroom entree, and the mid-course sorbet (palette cleanser) were my personal favorites. We were very happy and stuffed by the time we were leaving. Thank you, Elizabeth and everyone there, for creating something beautiful for us to experience.
- Emmanuel Mate-KodjoAmazing experience. We had the tasting menu and I included the wine pairing with mine. There was also a cocktail menu available, but not as a "pairing" with the meal. They made it a an experience where the sommelier introduced the dishes and drink pairings with a story to transport you to another place. It was really well put together and between that the attentive service, and the dishes that kept surprising with their textures and flavors, it was an experience that I'd highly recommend. The chefs are absolute artists in presentation, flavor, and textures, and the fact that it's all Vegan is the cherry on top of it all. Truly excellent.
