  My friend took me here for my birthday. The atmosphere was relaxing, chill, and inviting. The food I ordered was tasteful. I'm not vegan, but I wanted to try something different and healthier. I was not disappointed. Great customer skills and friendly environment.

  My husband and I enjoyed DC vegan. We stopped here for a quick late lunch and we had the Shareables, which included the fried cauliflower, the potato skins and the calamari. They did a great job with the calamari, the texture was on point. The potato skins were to die and cauliflower wings I would say was OK I think it was a bit too saucy and the buffalo flavor one didn't taste like the usual buffalo flavor. We really liked the Place. Service was great and I think it's definitely worth checking out if you're in the DC area and you like plant based or you are vegan like us. They also had lots of desserts, which we did not partake in, but they did look yummy, and they also had vegan wines for sale.

  When I was in Washington I was excited to eat some vegan food. Sadly my visit was a bit disappointing. The price of the food makes you expect that the food must taste really good. But that wasn’t the case. My jackfruit dish ($34) was pretty boring, and the cakes were all soggy like wet bread. My sister had a chicken dish that was really sour, because the poured a lot of lemon juice over the dish. The food didn’t arrive at the same time, so some people were almost ready eating when the other dishes came. Which is a shame when you pay $30+ for a dish. They said sorry but didn’t offer any free drinks or reduction of price in return. On the other hand the calamari (shared), the eggplant and mushroom main dish were really good. So I would recommend them.

  The food, service, and atmosphere is spot on. Great quality ingredients and attention to detail. We met the managers Michael and Leah, and also Ana our waitress, and Dave ... Very nice people and you can feel their passion for customer service. Definitely returning.

  Food wasn't fresh, cold and not tasty at all. Felt like it was a prepared meal someone forgot to hit in the microwave and the price for the dishes are super high! Too bad because the service was really nice and cocktails were lovely, and the atmosphere was great as well. Wouldn't go there again unless I know the kitchen has changed from end to end.
