Deliciously Ella began in Ella’s own kitchen back in 2012 as she began to look at her diet for a source of healing. There was just one problem: she didn’t know how to cook. So, she set about learning by experimenting with healthy plant-based ingredients as a way to nourish her body, working hard to make the food as tasty as possible. After a while, Ella decided to share her passion with friends and family before opening her ideas to the world via the Deliciously Ella website. It wasn’t long before her recipes were being used by people everywhere, and her business boomed. Now, you can enjoy her exquisite vegan meals at Plants by de, a restaurant focused on showcasing the wonderful variety of flavours and textures that can be created using only plants. Everything is made on site at their location near Bond Street Station in central London, ensuring that it is fresh and full of nutrition. The food at Plants by de is infused with Ella’s trademark inventiveness, and many of the ingredients that go into the plant-based dishes, such as the vegan butter, cashew creme fresh and walnut parmesan, are their own creations.

- Matthew WhitakerGenuinely the best food I think I've had. The flavours were so deep and we were surprised at how tasty every dish we had was. There were a great variety of dishes too and drink selection (good wine range too). The staff were lovely and helpful with recommendations. The only improvement I could suggest would be having more than 1 toilet. Everything else was faultless. Personal fav dishes were the okra fries and the truffle potatoes.
- Ana MilhazesFood is amazing!! I definitely want to come back :) Loved all the dishes! The cashew butter is just something out of this world!! The atmosphere is great. The restaurant is really beautiful! The staff was nice but the service was just not what I expected for this kind of restaurant. A little bit slow, I always had to call them. There was not initiative. They are not organized. And I really think it’s not justifiable because the restaurant is small. So I really love this place! I have been wanting to go for a very long time since I am a fan of Ella! I loved the fact that they offer a chocolate bar at the end. That was delicious by the way. So next time I’m coming to London I will definitely go again :) I hope they keep up the good work and I would just improve the service :)
- B.We've been wanting to visit Plants for years since we love the app from DE. The lunch was literally delicious, we had a great time. The staff is super friendly and we even had a small chat with our assigned waiter. Unfortunately the tables are quite small and since the food concept is a sharing platr theme, there is not enough room for 5 dishes plus drinks and plates. The prices are on the higher end but I assume that's due to the location in the city. After paying we received DE oat bars which was a lovely gesture and much appreciated. Would still definitely recommend.
- Hugh PriceSo the food was absolutely fantastic, beautiful presented and very tasty. Highly recommend the heritage tomato salad. The staff were very friendly. Also the coffee was incredible. The reason that I am not giving this place 5 stars is due to only having one toilet and not being able to serve any of their smoothies due to a non-delievry.
- Mohamed AhmedApparently it is a reservation only restaurant. Once I got in the waiter told me that he will “give me one hour only” despite the fact that the restaurant is way less than it’s half capacity 🙂 I initially wanted Matcha latte with coconut milk but they had limited nondairy options (no coconut milk), so I decided to try Almond Macchiato instead . The broccoli with garlic yogurt and siracha was tasty
