OMNOM is much more than just a restaurant, it is also a community. Founded on eastern influences, its aim is to encourage behaviours that nurture a healthy body, mind and soul. As such, both meditation and yoga sessions have been held at the OMNOM store in Islington since it opened in 2020. The restaurant serves a range of flavoursome vegan recipes, from spicy Indian-inspired curries to dosas and biryani dishes. The whole establishment is run on a strong set of values based on compassion and kindness, which has led the owners to donate a meal to feed a child in the developing world for every dish sold.

    The food is very highly quality, vegan choice I haven’t seen anywhere else. So packed with flavor, like having a festival in your mouth at every morsel. Staff are lovely and caring, extremely polite and attentive, atmosphere relaxing and very enjoyable. Good for your pocket, tummy and soul! And I was gifted a book! Will keep coming back for more

    We went there to celebrate my daughter’s wedding. The owner showed up to give his congratulations and a small gift. We were made extremely welcome and seated in the glass atrium. The staff could not have been friendlier or more helpful. The food was lovely - to quote my daughter “This is the best Indian food I have ever eaten!”

    The best experience ever of ANY restaurant I've ever eaten in. The food was divine, the service exceptional. The atmosphere filled with love, kindness. I cannot explain in words what a wonderful place this is. I personally went to the chefs to thank them for the wonderful delicious food. What's even more amazing, the place has a community and events section upstairs which has events at very low cost and not-for-profit. It's a concept that is unique, ethical and "satvic" (pure). The staff are amazing, attentive. The fellow customers also were full of love, kindness and joy. I am so glad I found this place and couldn't have chosen a better place to share my 40th birthday with my family. Definitely the most enlightened experience I've had dining out.

    Had the thali which was yummy but some bits were more on the spicier side for me. Their smoothie was yummy! The reason for the rating was more due to some staff and how they make you feel like the customers are not welcome even at time of payment, which brought the atmosphere down. I don’t know if it was just a bad day and they had slow service, so probably seem more rude. Will think about returning.

    I had a brilliant meal at Omnom before going to a gig at Islington Assembly Hall. It was great to see Dahi Puri on the menu after I'd tried them in Nepal. The paneer spicy curry was perfect level of heat and everything we ordered was delicious. The staff were really attentive with excellent customer service. I'd highly recommend!
