  Donut Run is an excellent donut shop/counter. So far, these are probably the best donuts I’ve tried in the DMV. If you like yeasty fluffy donuts, there are plenty of options here. If you like cake style donuts there are not as many options. I loved the variety of flavors to try. If I had to have any critique it would be the donuts are a little too sweet, especially in the frosting. However, that is personal preference. :) definitely worth checking this place out!

  Best donuts in the DMV. Don’t let the vegan label stop you from trying these. They are fantastic - large, fluffy, golden brown, and topped a rotating combination of toppings. Tiger (caramel with chocolate stripes) and Zebra (vanilla with chocolate stripe) are standards. Snickers, Samoa, and other creative combinations come and go. They have both raised and cake donuts, and some long johns. Coffee is good (oat milk is the only option for creamer but it is drowned out by the coffee anyway).

  When I heard there was a vegan donut shop in DC I had to give it a try! While their space is small and doesn't offer dine in, service was fairly quick! They have daily specials and tons of variety of flavors! Everything was delicious and their donuts are so fluffy, you'd never guess they're vegan! I'll be coming back to try some more!

  The donuts are delicious! I suggest going early for sure. It's a grab and go... and considering the line it can get a little hectic. We placed an order over someone else yelling out their order and they missed a couple. The pricing was confusing too. We got 8 donuts and ended up paying the same price as a dozen ... or so we think? We wish they would have mentioned that... I would suggest double checking the order for sure before leaving and try not to feel pressured or rushed by the crowd. They are definitely worth it!
