Biff’s Plant Shack
Biff’s plant-based journey began in 2016 when Biff himself became vegan. He had always loved burgers but was underwhelmed by the veggie ones he was now eating. Along with Christa, who had convinced him to change his diet, he set about creating Crispy Fried Jackfruit – a tender, crunchy alternative to chicken. They began to build a passionate group of followers who loved the pair’s creativity and dedication to producing fine vegan takeaway. Their ingenuity even led them to introduce the first eating competition to involve vegan wingz. Today they are achieving their mission to bring incredible plant-based comfort food to the masses through Biff’s Delivery, which has developed into the most extensive vegan delivery service in the UK.

- Nadia GIt was my first time going out for vegan food. It's not really my thing but I gave it a try. The Brewdog bar itself was good and the staff were very nice, but the food wasn't really my thing. The onion rings and chips were nice enough. So fine for a little snack with your drink.
- Sunil MistryNice concept and certainly gives any non-meat eaters a chance to flavour the textures of what wings and meat burgers would be like. We ordered 2 PC wings (jack fruit) and the burger lunch box. Food looks great. Texture of the wings were similar to chicken and it even had a "bone" in them. As for taste really couldn't taste anything other than the crunchy bread crumbs. Just a bit bland if there wasnt any sauces and for £6 for 2 pc. I expected better. As for the burgers. Very sizeable and nicely put together. Overall I just found this a bit too pricey for what it was. £10 for burger and fries. What did they think they are serving here - meat burgers!. Its worth a visit but would I go again.. probably not
- Saskia SSo I've had Biff's several times before at Boxpark and Vegan Nights etc and really loved it, and despite really enjoying it at Brewdog it wasn't necessarily what I was expecting. We went for brunch so no comment on the lunch menu but it was more heavily seitan dishes etc than jackfruit options. I find seitan etc really heavy so would have more inclusion of the namesake in the brunch specials. Overall v happy to munch, big portions and good value. 🍗 JACK N WAFFLES Classic biffs jack wings which are lush, nice crisp outside yummy textured jackfruit inside wrapped around a sugar cane stalk. Not enough of these per portion (2) imo but yum with the waffles, maple syrup, hot sauce and bacun. Salty and sweet with a kick, SOLD. 🥦 8/10 💸 £10 🥔 BACUN BLUE HASH BROWNS The PINNACLE of the meal. Taking hash browns (every rational humans FAVOURITE potato form), add some oozy gooey vegan blue cheese and a big dollop of sticky sweet Bacun jam and tbh I'll have to change my knickers. Winner winner, hash brown dinner. 🥦 10/10 💸 £3 🥪 GRILLED CHEESE Yummy well balanced sandwich with a great bite. Not enough cheese to be a grilled cheese sarnie more like a Grilled Yum wotsitmebob. Hunny mustard, truffled mushrooms and dill pickles stand out flavours. 🥦8/10 💸 £6.50 🍟 ITALIA 90 FRIES More quantity over quality. Hard-to-find truffle flavour hits less like a ninja and more like a wallflower. Quite dry with the Bacun bits. 🥦 4/10 💸 £6 (£4 w Grilled Cheese) Worth a look and their burger menu is L A R G E. NB: Wear elasticated pants. @saskia_rabbit
- Asiyah BaleemThe food is delicious and the meal deal is really good value for money. It was our first time there and the server was super helpful in telling us what was popular, what they recommended and what level of spice everything was. I can't wait to return on my next visit and try even more of their great food!
- Marsha RichardsFollow @thatvegangirlmarsha for more places to eat!! Could not recommend these guys enough, had them for the first time yesterday at Mighty Hoopla. Also had a burger and shared these fries so so good, that we went back for more fries!! Vegan or not you'll love them!
