If you would like to have a celebrity vegan baker grill you a Beyond Burger, Impossible Burger or Beyond Sausage for around $17.50 (fries, salad, etc...is extra) then this is the place for you. Space is small. Employees are friendly. Marbled rye bread on my $15 vegan corned beef sandwich was delicious. Mayonnaise on my sandwich missed the mark. Mustard would have been a much better pairing. Blueberry soda was amazing. My friend did not care for her chickpea entrée. Oh and the vegan brownie was dry. It will be impossible for me to return. Sticky Fingers Diner is beyond belief.

Really tasty vegan food! And I was pleasantly surprised to find it’s not just diner/bar food. They have pasta, salads, tacos, soup… basically a good variety of different foods, plus really good looking pastries. The employees were friendly as well. Beware: the wine is from a tap! Best to stick with beer or cocktails.

Amazing spot to indulge in delicious, plant-based diner fare! I've come here for the weekend brunch a few times, and they truly never miss -- whether you're hankering for a seasonal fruit pancake, a vegan croissant (which is still wild to say), a fully plant-based meatball sub, or a vegan mac & cheese that isn't powdery or overly watery, then Sticky Fingers Diner has you covered! They have all of your favorite American comfort classics (and more!), plus a full-blown bakery with all types of vegan cookies, cakes, etc. Their cheesy mac is one of my favorite vegan / wheat-free takes on mac & cheese in the city, but their polenta fries and buffalo cauliflower dip are both amazing ways to kick off your meal. I was also thoroughly impressed by their vegan cheese platter -- they had a great variety of plant-based cheeses, and they all had the perfect texture and savoriness / smokiness / slightly pungent undertones a cheese connaisseur might look for in a real dairy-based charcuterie board. When it comes to their breakfast selection, I love a good matcha latte any day! Their latte was a bit too sweet, especially when paired with other sweet breakfast / brunch items, but it was super thick and creamy, with a great amount of foam. Their pancakes are solid, but nothing particularly fancy; I was, however, super impressed by their arugula shroom croissant -- the sauteed cremini mushrooms packed a great umami punch, and the tofu-egg patty was shockingly egg-like. The croissant did not quite look like a real croissant, but it was shockingly flaky. There's generally not a wide selection of gluten-free items on their breakfast menu, but you can never go wrong with a smoothie bowl, and their chilaquiles are solid -- the scrambled tofu is a touch bland, but that makes it a great canvas for their flavor-[acked black beans, roasted poblanos, and roasted tomato roja. Beyond the food -- I LOVED the vibes! It has a classic diner feel with tiny booths, a line of barstools overlooking the cooktops, and a giant display case of all their baked goodies. There's a ton of natural light streaming into the restaurant, and I love the outdoor seating area as well. The first time I visited, my friend and I ended up sitting at a table in the back hallway to the patio; it's the only table in the hallway, so aside from the occasional server passing through to bring food outside, it almost felt like we had a private room. The service is also super quick and friendly -- you do need to go up to the front counter to order (which isn't always explained when you first arrive), but they'll take your food out to you so you can go back to your table after that.

It was perfect! This place is a must try. All the food was great. The cake was a little dry. I think the cookies and cream cake would have been better than the cookie dough cake, so I’ll probably get that one next time.

Breakfast was delicious. Certainly worth the trip. The portions are big and we should have definitely split a breakfast. Came on a Sunday- I got the benedict and my husband got the biscuits and gravy. Not a single complaint. WAY better than DC vegan-
