  Maciel's Plant-Based Butcher & Deli is fantastic! The food is incredible, the atmosphere is warm, and the staff make you feel like family. Their Flores sandwich is a masterpiece – proof that plant-based food absolutely rivals the classics. If you haven't tried Maciel's yet, you're missing out on a seriously delicious experience. (Didn't get a pic of the Flores before we devoured it😂)

  My first-ever visit to a vegan butcher and deli, and it was great. Our sandwiches were full of great deli flavor. I’m bringing home a couple of chunks of salami. Though the place was thronged with youngsters, they have a restroom available, much to the relief of a couple of old guys after a long drive.

  Had been here in the past before they got it all going. Came back to try a sandwich. Shared a Reuben and a chicken pesto and brought home a turkey sandwich for Bae. I have to say, I'm not a vegan, love my meat, but this place makes clear something I've always thought, that sandwich meat is the least important part of a good sandwich. The point was brought home by my Reuben and the chicken pesto, both of which I thought were better than an average meat containing version. Worth a try whether you are vegan or not. They also do breakfast, will come back to try it.

  Who woulda thought a plant based deli shop would be this good? Well obviously Maciel since she has the idea. Everything I’ve had here so far is delicious and flavorful. Can thank that latin flavor for sure! These sandwiches are well proportioned without feeling too bready, and plenty of fixings to round them out. The potato salad was equally tasty. The chocolate mousse was extremely chocolatey though I thought it went a bit hard on the spice. For such a sweet dessert I personally would opt for just a little less cayenne. I have her to try any of their actual deli meats outside of sandwiches. They tend to run out fast or at least when I choose to go. It’s my own con for this space and why it’s one star from 5. Parking shouldn’t be too hard along the boulevard or side streets if you can’t find a space in the shared lot. Highly recommend for any plant based forager.

  Both the breakfast burrito and the Italian sandwich were some of the best I’ve had in the city. The deli meats, chicharrones and potato salad were also very nice. I ordered online and I appreciated how quick it was too. Will definitely be coming back!
