Flower Burger
Colourful burgers made with joy and love.
Flower power
In 2015, Italian entrepreneur Matteo Toto decided to bring together vegan cuisine and fast food culture by creating tasty plant-based burgers which could be enjoyed by everyone. With roots in nature, he chose the flower to represent love and positivity, two feelings he wanted to spread as he grew the concept beyond its starting point in Milan, Italy.
A global expansion
Since its inception, the company has expanded to three other countries, with restaurants in Marseille, Amsterdam, Brighton and London added to the founding one. No matter the location, though, the mission is still the same: to bring happiness and joy to the world through delicious vegan food.
Bursting with colour
Just like the world of plants, Flower Burger is a place full of wonderful colours and flavours. Their buns are infused with vivid tones created by natural ingredients such as turmeric, vegetable charcoal and beetroot extract, giving them a vibrant appearance and a unique taste. Each burger is made from a rich collection of plant-based ingredients, and there is a selection of different patties on offer, including oat and red bean, seitan and red kidney, mushroom, and chickpea. All of these are layered with fresh tomatoes, Gentilina lettuce and other juicy vegetables before being topped off with one of Flower Burger’s many sauces, for a wholly satisfying meal.
Filling extras and indulgent treats
For those with a large appetite, Flower Bombs – an intriguing mix of seitan, red kidney beans and spinach – are available as an appetiser, and filling sides like breaded aubergines, edamame and savoury potato wedges accompany each burger. After all that, if you still have room, there is also the range of Flower Milkshakes that can be enjoyed as a post-burger treat, alongside other desserts such as Chocolate Salami – an imaginative mix of dark chocolate, cocoa, melba toast and oaty biscuits – and the melt-in-the-middle Choco Love cake.
A sublime sensory experience
The decor at Flower Burger is also an important part of the atmosphere in their restaurants, as each is presented in a bold, colourful style. Psychedelic designs inspired by hippy culture and a clubbing lifestyle adorn the interior of each one, adding to the eye-catching effect of the food and producing an exhilarating dining experience that stimulates all the senses.

- MaryGreat experience. We've ordered the rainbow burger and the flower burger, both with fried. They were both really good, but the rainbow slightly better. Excellent service and great location. Glad we could find this vegan place. Would certainly revisit.
- Dree ChuaGreat vegan burgers served here! They’re a bit hard to eat (in the sense that their size is big and will definitely fall apart while eating). The plant-based party doesn’t feel dry at all! The servers are also really nice and helped with recommendations. Would love to come again!
- Inkd HippieGreat place to grab lunch. The meal deal brings the cost down somewhat and the lovely staff are happy to include desserts in this if you don’t want any sides. The choco love cake is small but delicious! My burger (the jungle burger) was lovely, although the patty was cold. My boyfriend’s burger (the tangy chickpea burger) was completely cold. He still enjoyed it but he would have enjoyed it more if it had been warm. I love the decor here, very cool. I’ll definitely come back here again.
- Camila GaldamesFood was good but not excellent. Extra points for being all vegan. The burgers need a bit more seasoning and to be cooked a bit more too, specially the Flower Burger. They were cold when they came to our table despite being the only people there at the moment. All of these are details that can be improved tho. Place is big, original and very clean. Burgers look very similar to Pretty Patties so extra points for that too.
- LouiseJust had food from here. Enjoyed the burger, the burger patty itself could have been thicker so I could taste it more as the cheese was over powering. The wedges, I prefer them not so crispy ( but that’s a personal like ). Almost cold food, but not sure if that’s the Deliveroo riders fault. I loved the design of the packaging. Overall it’s good and I’d try it again.
