  Great service. Friendly staff. Helpful to recommend options on the menu. Food was very filling. Large portion size. I picked the mac and cheese side with loaded nachos. My husband had the smash the junk burger with loaded fries and side of chick on a stick. Great all vegan menu. The best bit was surprisingly the chick on a stick. With close second being the mac and cheese Would highly recommend the food here!

  Very good vegan restaurant. Very good vibes and delicious food 😌✨ Will certainly visit again. Price of food is quite high, but you need to get used to it in Helsinki

  They've really done something wonderful with the old Painobaari, which was dark and dismal. Junk Y has vivid street art paint and bright colors, and functional tables with a sensible layout (before, the tables and chairs were huge and heavy and took up way too much space). I only tried the sweet potato fries, which were very good and the ranch dip was great. However, I was ASTOUNDED that a(n artisinal, but still) soda cost me 5,80€ when my food cost a euro less O_o Other than that, it was a lovely little place and you should definitely check out the Jojo & Ystävät music club that runs there monthly now!

  I had a sour-dough bread with beets - the taste was fine, just that the bread was a little bit too dry. The service was fast and there were many vegan options in the menu. The atmosphere of the restaurant is relaxed. I will be eager to try other dishes from the menu.

  Delicious bowl with a wide selection of ingredients that fit together perfectly. Environment is calm but suitably edgy. Employees are professional and friendly. Food arrived quickly. Price is suitable or even ok the low side door the service I received.
