  Honestly one of the best places I've discovered in Paris. This witchcraft themed, seasonal, vegan cafe is absolutely magical. From the welcoming and friendly staff to the delicious food (and even some magic potions!), a trip to Cafe Contresort will be unforgettable.

  Amazing place that is influenced by a blend of vegan and African cuisine. It is exceptionally authentic and tasty. My host led me through all the dishes in English as well. Food is restaurant quality but it is home made. One of the best vegan places I’ve been.

  It was a cute café and the staff is friendly. It's not centrally located but probably why it's affordable. They even have gluten-free options! When we went the first time on a Saturday afternoon, it was fully booked so we tried again with a reservation. It's highly recommended that you book in advance. The only reason it's 4 stars is because I went there for the potions drinks (which is probably why a lot of their clients come to their cafe anyway) but they had run out of it. I still had a delicious cake and colour changing lemonade but I was disappointed about not having the potions drinks, especially since I had been looking at those on their Instagram page for weeks.

  I booked several days in advance to celebrate my birthday. Once we arrived there, there was no reservation. Apparently they have a bad reservation system and the person that was checking the reservations said that the problem was my phone that was not up to date even though I made everything on the computer. She kept insisting it was my fault and not theirs. You have to receive an email that confirms your reservation, even if at the end the screen shows you are booked. Unbelievably frustrating because I was very excited expecting this day. I have no words to describe the disappointment.
