- UnnivaI come here WHENEVER I can. The food is soooooo delicious and fresh. Completely made to order so its steaming hot when you get it. My favorite dishes are of course the shrimp but also the lemongrass fish. I've legit ordered this around 20 times. There freshly made juices are also a must, I always get the jade juice when I come, it is such a refreshing treat, well worth the price. If your looking for a nice vegan restaurant don't hesitate to come here.
- Cody OwensWe went on Super Bowl Sunday, several days prior to Valentine's Day, so I wasn't sure what to expect, but at noon, we immediately got a table. The server was nice and gave great recommendations. Our food arrived pretty promptly, though I wouldn't have minded it taking longer since the atmosphere is so great. The salt and pepper shrimp appetizer is possibly the best vegan shrimp I've ever had. I also highly suggest the octopus (mushroom). Even the water was delicious. The only downsides were that (a) the server was spread a bit thin so it took a while to get the check and (b) the restaurant is downtown so parking was annoying. (Welcome to LA.) I will certainly be back -- and soon.
- Bryan MatsumotoFirst time, and loved the food. Can't wait to return and try more dishes. The "octopus" was so delicious... it's fried shiitake mushrooms, with a thick batter, sweet, savory sauce, little veggies, black rice... 🤩 The fried shrimp 🍤 appetizer was also good, delicious. Those 2 I would order again. The "paella" was tasty and very flavorful. It doesnt resemble paella... it's more of a cold vinaigrette? wild rice & thinly sliced cabbage salad? And sushi was tasty too. These two were both interesting to try but next time I will try new things.
- Rebecca RodriguezBest food, best service, best ambiance. Even the water they bring you is the best. It’s got cucumbers and basil. Mushroom calamari is delicious, the sauces are amazing, the fries are thick and crispy. Au lac is a definite must go. A+++ two thumbs up 👍 spectacular.
- Rick LupertThis place has a bunch of five-star aspects to it. The fact that it exists, all vegan with lots of options - 5 Stars...the beautifully presented food - 5 Stars. The atmosphere - you feel like you've walked into a slightly different world - 5 Stars. The food itself was pretty good but I'm sticking with a 4 on this one. Portions were generous...we had Sie Mai Dumplings, and Lemongrass "Fish" - both of which were more than enough to fill up my wife and me. I'm a sucker for vegetarian fish...good veggie burgers abound but, not so much fish...this lemongrass fish did a pretty good job of approximating the experience of eating fish. The dumplings were plentiful and presented beautifully but maybe only a 4 in terms of flavor. We also dug the fancy looking infused water container, and they took good and quick care of us after we told them we were heading to a show nearby with limited time to linger. Obviously, as it's an all-vegan spot, there is PLENTY to choose from for our diets. We'd definitely give it another try and especially appreciated its proximity to the music center where we were seeing a show right after dinner.
