- R. P.I'm going to echo most of the reviews for Lazy Cow--the food was divine. We ordered lemon loaf, fruit tart, breakfast sandwich and the chickpea toast. I haven't had fruit tart in a long time and this was absolutely delicious. Just come in and order everything in sight! I'm already planning on my next visit, the food was that good. However, customer service was odd and not at all inviting. Personally, the food was so good we didn't care that the customer service was lackluster. Will come back for the food and maybe find a spot outdoors.
- Shannon LubetichEverything I have here is absolutely incredible!! Best vegan pastries I’ve ever had — lemon meringue tart, almond (filled) croissant, tiramisu. It is truly magic how buttery and creamy everything is since there are no animal products. No one can tell it’s vegan! I even had the breakfast sandwich (vegan sausage, egg, cheese) and two people had no idea it was vegan until after they ate it and I said something. The pepper jelly on that sandwich is soooo good! They have macarons on the weekends and often post specials on their instagram. Typically there’s a monthly seasonal croissant flavor. There’s also a free pantry for those in need (and you can donate too). Lots of tables inside, good vibes, very community-oriented.
- Matt HWe ordered the almond croissant and tiramisu here. The croissant tasted good but was a bit too over cooked/dry. The tiramisu was incredible.
- Riddhi RathodWe went to this bakery cafe on a Saturday for brunch. Ordered americano, avocado toast (requested to skip onions to make this Jain), pesto focaccia sandwich and chocolate croissant. Food was tasty and portion size was good. We also picked up tiramisu to enjoy later at home. Totally recommend croissants and tiramisu, definitely coming back for them. Ambience of the place is okay, kinda has a community center vibe to it that’s why giving it 4 stars. However, this is 100% vegan and completely worth checking it out. #jainfriendly #veganfriendly
- John WyssThis is a fantastic little vegan coffee shop and bakery near University bridge in Fremont. They have baked goods, cakes and other desserts, sandwiches, and of course coffees and teas. If you are not vegan, don't worry, you would never know that items don't contain animal products. For example, the strawberry shortcake or the German chocolate cake is some of the best I've ever had vegan or not. Oh, and did I mention there are cookies and muffins? For a late lunch or snack, there are some tasty sandwiches, not a huge selection but some are very creative like the chickpea sandwich. If you order ahead on the website, a custom cake is possible.
