- Elizabeth SmithWe absolutely loved the sandwiches we got here! The location is a bit sketchy, and getting in and out of the parking lot was tricky because it was fenced off on most sides, so squeezing in and out with so many other cars was challenging, plus there were a lot of people on the sidewalks. Totally worth it for the amazing food, though! My photo does not do it justice. We got the BBQ pork sandwich and the sesame beef sandwich, and both were incredible. Great prices and amazing food. The people working there seemed nice and friendly.
- Sylvia Cheesemangreat little hole in the wall place! food was good and atmosphere was nice. parking is a little sketchy but you can park right in front. I really enjoyed the sesame ball as it was less sweet than they normally are and had different filling.
- Annie WangI saw the words tofu, vegan, and buffet out of the corner of my eye while on the 554 bus and knew I needed to come to ChuMinh. After a 8 mile hike, this buffet was the perfect meal for my friend and I to replenish. The buffet was $33.01 including 20% tip and came with a free drink. The variety of the buffet was super impressive with flavors of tofu, seitan, vegetables, and noodle dishes that were new to my palate (they were also unlabeled so I kind of just got a little bit of everything). My friend who has been vegan for 9 years was also extremely shocked by the variety and unique Vietnamese flavors. The staff is super friendly and the environment is very chill with a self service water station and homey Buddhist decorations.
- Anonymous ReviewsI've always struggled to find vegan Vietnamese food but this one is a GREAT find!! Going to go back here often. The spicy tofu banh mi and the spicy noodle soup ๐ was amazingg!!!
- Fiona StatzThis place piqued my interest when I found out it serves vegan and vegetarian Vietnamese food. When ordering in, you use a self-service POS system in front and are instructed to keep an eye out for a text when your food is ready. We expected to get a text, however, an employee ended up serving us our food and the text arrived the next morning. We ordered some soups and a banh mi for later and were pleasantly surprised with the flavor of the broths (especially the spicy noodle soup!). Atmosphere is pretty divey and itโs located right in front of an area where unhoused people frequent with a few parking spots out in front. Definitely coming back for the spicy tofu sandwich!
