- Ben DavidFirst of all the people that work at harmony are the nicest people ever. I Had special ordered this cake for a Super Bowl/Valentines Party and it was truly amazing. Everyone was kept talking about how delicious, flavorful, and moist it was. Thank you all so much for this amazing Cake. It was truly a hit 🥰
- Bethany ButlerThis place is soooo cute. The biggest portions of the most delicious looking treats fill a little case that greets you as you walk in the door. There's a little line but the wait is not bad. To the right is a fridge with delicious looking cream soups and potato salads. It's all gluten free and vegan. I asked for a suggestion and the Samoa bar was pointed out. It was delicious! The bottom was a little overdone on the edge (I got an edge piece.) But the flavor and texture was that of a gluten filled, buttery treat. I am in love and can look past the edge. I am definitely returning!
- Melynda RosenthalCan't express how much I appreciate the team here at Harmony. I come through as often as I can . This year a few friends surprised me with a cake and the lovely ladies helped them pick out the perfect flavor I loved my surprise and it was 😋 😋 😋 😋 😋 😋 😋 😋 Delicious......
- Ryan DalusungRating is purely based on the food, as someone who doesn't typically buy gluten-free products. I went with a girlfriend (who is both vegan and gluten-free) to try this place, as she remembered enjoying it and I've never been, and thought it was a cute, if not slightly cramped, little establishment. The walls are lined with art and there were staff all about the kitchen, baking and cleaning and busying themselves with activity. I can only assume there are regular, loyal customers at Harmony Bakery, since many people came in and chatted with staff and, I believe, the owner, greeting each on a first-name basis. In terms of food, I ordered the Samoa Bar and the Cinnamon Bun. Each was gluten-free and only the Cinnamon Bun was heated up (the Samoa Bar would have melted). They look delicious and I did enjoy the flavors of both but, despite the Cinnamon Bun being heated, I found them to be lacking a crucial soft, "gooey" punch. The Cinnamon Bun was still hard and, when I tried to slice into it, it broke apart or crumbled. Again, it tasted good, but it lacked in gooeyness. The Samoa Bar was also tasty but, similarly, lacked the softer texture expected from pastries like these. I would still recommend trying the place out, especially if you're vegan/gluten-free and enjoy small bakeries where you'll likely see regular customers and staff. They seem to enjoy what they do and they make their pastries with joy. Personally, however, I still prefer pastries with gluten, but I would recommend eating your purchases immediately if you'd like to give Harmony Bakery and Cafe a try. What I ordered was a bit too hard, to my taste, for what a Cinnamon Bun or chocolate/coconut bar classically would be. Again, this was my experience and I would still recommend trying the place out for yourself. 3/5 stars from me.
- Viggy VanchiThis place is top-notch. Everything I ordered was easily some of the best food I've had since moving to the city. I ordered a 6' cake for a friends birthday, and they were able to get it done in such short notice. The cake was moist and quite dense but amazingly flavorful all the way through. The entire party was surprised when I told them it was vegan and gluten free. When I stopped by to pick up the cake, I got myself some lunch. I ordered the carrot lox and cream cheese on an everything bagel. The bagel was certainly fresh and homemade. It tasted almost like a sourdough. The cashew cream cheese was creamy and rich. I would have loved the portions to be a little larger and have the "cream cheese" be a slightly thicker, but that's just me. I also got a Samoa Bar, which was no doubt one of the best desserts I've ever had in my life. The texture of the chocolate and the coconut flavor was unbeatable. The Golden Milk was great as well; if you order it, make sure to mix it a little before drinking. I was unfortunately in a rush so I couldn't enjoy as much as I wanted. I will be back -- with everyone I know ;)
