Casa da Mully
A charming café known for its unique ice cream and inspiring community events.
Founded by an international couple wanting to make vegan food more accessible, Casa da Mully is a welcoming café offering plant-based meals and weekend brunches. Visitors can enjoy tasty sandwiches, salads and pancakes at their stylish, laid-back location in suburban Areeiro, but they are most famous for their decadent sweet snacks. These include artisanal ice cream based on the owners’ favourite New York treat, sandies and indulgent nibbles known as thingamabobs. Each unique creation is inspired by a cherished memory, from the boozy Moscatel to the exhilarating Golden Bica and the spicy yet refreshing Trash Cat Sandie. Alongside their delicious, sustainable food, they also support local artists, musicians and the wider community through cultural events including painting workshops, trivia nights, gigs and watch parties.
