  Stopped by around 11 and was happy to see they still had a pretty good selection available. I got the jalapeño cheese kolache, birthday cake croissant, and cereal milk pop pastry. The service was incredible, kind and quick. They offered to heat my kolache for me and I ate that warm in the car on the way home. The outside of the kolache was one of the best I have had and the inside was good. I ate part of both pastries cold and would recommend asking for the Pop pastries to be warmed up. It wasn’t bad, but clearly just something that needs to be warmed. It’s really great to have a vegan bakery in San Antonio. The quality of the pastry work here, especially when many vegan pastries come up short, is really impressive. I’ll definitely be back to try muffins, other donuts, and hopefully some cake!

  This is my favorite bakery in San Antonio. Their products are vegan/vegetarian and are all delicious. Some of their baked goodies include donuts, croissants, pop pastries and cake. My go-to is the baked banana pancake donut. It’s unique in both taste and texture, and is so heavenly. My husband said their cookies n cream donut is the best donut he’s ever had! I highly recommend visiting their bakery or purchasing from the many local coffee shops in SA that sell Cake Thieves baked treats. 😋

  Cake thieves has become an obsession since I found it! I have only tried a few pastries, all of which are amazing but my personal favorite is the chocolate cinnamon croissant. Honestly I look for any excuse to visit, even if just for a quick coffee before work. Jarren is also great! From day one she has been super friendly, quick, and patiently answers any questions about what they are selling that day. There’s nothing better than starting your day with friendly faces, yummy sweets, and a bit of caffeine :) 10 out of 10 will come again 👌

  I loved the London fog scone and my husband loved the sweet potato maple bun. He said the carrot cake was okay. We didn't get coffee but we'll have to return to try that. The different seating availability was nice. All the employees we interacted with were great.

  I've never been personally but a friend of mine always brings confections from here and they're always really good. I'm not a vegan, but that doesn't stop me from enjoying good food. I hope to one day make it over and try everything fresh.
