- Diontey RossI saw the name of this place pop up a few times when I would look for something to eat. I was driving to a location for work and looked over and the name stood out because of the colors. Once it was time for lunch I figured I would go ahead and give it a try. But before I went in I looked at their menu to see what they had and basically knew what I was going to get once I entered. I got the Vada Pav, which is a spiced potato patty and it's batter fried then more spices and put on a bun. I didn't know what to expect but it tasted good. This was something that I never had so I wasn't used to it and had to kind of take it in, but I definitely liked it and would get it again. I also had the Falooda, which is a Rose Flavored Milkshake. Never had that and never heard of it before. So it peaked my interest but I wasn't sure of how it would taste with this Rose flavor. He brought it out to the table and it looked like something that should be in a commercial, how good it looked. I went ahead and took a sip and my mind was blown. It definitely tasted like rose but it tasted so good. And it may sound weird but it tasted pretty. There is a rose perfume that I had smelled that smells so beautiful and when I tasted it it immediately reminded me of that and I said it tastes just like how that perfume smells. Once I finished I was debating on if I should take one home.
- Erica ReneeChickn sandwich was gone in minutes! Didn't even stop eating for water. Loaded brownie is off the chain. Fries were delicious as well. Staff was friendly and fast. Atmosphere is cozy. Do yourself a favor and check it out. All vegan friendly 😺
- Ravi BhaveIt is a unique place to have a quick bite and enjoy street food from Bombay. Food quality was excellent, and service was good. The owner was very friendly and took care of our needs personally. Prices are reasonable, and the quantity was fulfilling. The decor is nice. We Loved our experience.
- Jacqueline SandersThis place is amazing. I never thought I could enjoy vegan food. The flavors are amazing, the quality is stunning, and the service was great. We had paani puri, falooda, golden milk, ‘chicken’ tikka naan with masala fries, and samosas. 10/10 this place is a new favorite. By the far the best Indian street food experience. Clean eating where you feel good afterwards. Went back on a different day and the shrimp tacos are pretty good and s is the lemon curd milkshake.
- Rebecca ClarkShort Story: Enticing plant-based menu with Indian classics as well as fusion foods! Long Story: After having Bombay Food Junkies' soft serve at Pizza Head, I had to try their brick-and-mortar business off Olive. Everything at BFJ is plant-based, which is amazing for any vegan (and your non-vegan friends will love it too)! BFJ also has a lot of GF options as well. Items Eaten: • Butt'r Chikn Bowl - One of their most popular bowls, and I can see why! Soft, pillowy garlic naan bread served to the side of a savory/sweet coconut and tomato-based curry with tender "chikn" pieces served on top of a brown rice/quinoa blend, this was a delight to eat! • Oreo Oatly Milkshake - AMAZING! • Samoas - Pillowy crust, filled with spicy peas and potatoes. Good eats. • Crispy Chikn Sandwich - Perfectly crispy "chikn" patty sandwiched in between a vegan garlic butter toasted Kaiser bun and all the fixings. Get it with the Masala fries - you won't regret it! So, so tasty! • Royally Baked Gooey Buttah Cake to go Everything was so tasty, and I love that BFJ composts, so nothing goes to waste. Can't wait to come back for more amazing eats! Thank you!
