- Dana SeymourWas gifted this absolutely INCREDIBLE matcha pistachio dessert as a birthday gift today. It is the most delicious thing I’ve eaten. Would never have believed it was vegan though, without being told. I will be visiting the next time I’m in the area for sure!
- Montana KanenThe Kare Pan was so delicious!! It’s rare to see this offered vegan which is so nice :) the coffee is very good too. The atmosphere is wonderful, only a few tables but designed beautifully and great coffee shop music. My boyfriend got the breakfast sandwich and they heated it up for him, it was very good as well. Would come here all the time if I was local!
- ًGreat vegan place that supports various small businesses! The pistachio matcha tart and the onigiri set were the highlight, but the drinks weren’t the best as the matcha and miso caramel flavours weren’t strong enough. However, the miso soup and pickles were amazing and super flavourful, while the onigiri; while very flavourful and presented well, was hard to assemble. The prices are also quite high, albeit it is a vegan restaurant which also keeps their utensils sustainable. The lighting and seating are nice, but I believe this cafe was just alright and great if you have the money.
- Sophie JVery cool Japanese vegan café. Beautifully made treats that I’ve never seen plant based elsewhere. The tarts are excellent and the treats aren’t too sweet. Delicious hojicha latte, vibrant matcha and smooth coffee. The staff are lovely, so is the space. The cups and dishes are disposable so BYO to limit waste, you can get a discount for BYO cup. The only place I was able to see shower toilets in real life as well.
- em jovvery happy i finally tried this place!! i got a cappuccino and the miso caramel cheesecake, which were both really good. everything here is plant-based, i think even the cutlery and plates, which i appreciate. the ladies working at the front were so sweet and had my order ready quickly. if you plan to eat in, note that it does seem to get pretty busy - i was there about 20-40 minutes after opening and most of the seats ended up taken, though this is on a weekend. i will definitely be back to try their other seasonal items. such a gem!!
