- Zachary WalkerSomebody People is electric; as much an experience as a restaurant. The space invites you in with thoughtful decor, soft lighting and neon undertones, a wait staff that emulates cool, and a tight space designed you draw you in and make you feel a part of it. Their tasting menu is essential and worth a visit time and time again as each visit features a new menu that is seasonal, creative, and educational. The wait staff perfectly times courses, which come with a list of ingredients that tell a story and raise questions that can only be answered by taking a bite. The food is a shared experience, not only with those you’re dining with but those around you; I look forward to the dessert served to the table next to me and envious of the couple across the room experiencing the first bite of the soup I just scraped my bowl clean of. The food is delicious and it’s all bolstered by a mission that feels uniquely Denver: sustainable, local, accommodating, and vegetable-forward. You really have to try it for yourself to understand the hype (just make sure you get a reservation in advance!)
- MichelleThis place really reminds me of Australia. They have a fully vegan menu, everything is locally sourced, and they change their menu seasonally. I'm obsessed with their sparkling water that they hooked up on tap by themselves, the bubbles are smaller and smoother than topo chico but I won't spend this whole review talking about it. Their roasted cabbage is delicious. Parking is sparse. Loud, young, fun atmosphere with really close tables, but it's loud enough inside that you somehow don't hear the neighboring table's conversation. Great service. They have a "feed me" option of a multiple course meal like omakase that will definitely fill you up. These pictures were all a part of it excluding 2 other pasta dishes if I remember correctly.
- Nathan BonzalQuite a letdown given the hype. This is on a desolate block of South Broadway in a nondescript building. Too many reflective surfaces. The sound levels are deafening. All tolerable if the food was good, but it really wasn’t. It’s at the level of your inventive 20-something college roommate. The first dish is pretty good (but not great). But then comes course after course of identical tasting food. Service was spotty (though the host was on top of it. Well done). Brightest points were the cocktails. But even then, not worth your time.
- Shreya SriramThe staff and the atmosphere were great. I very bravely signed up for the "feed me" option, the food was very nice (I must admit how surprised I was to see that none of the food courses had any tofu, tempeh or fake meat!). Dishes are very creative but I only wish I had more appetite to eat up everything. I was too full after the second course 😅 I hope to see you open up in more locations! 😄
- Sammy HowellWent for Sunday supper and it was good. Cool ways to prepare different vegetables! All vegan restaurant! They also asked multiple times If we has any allergies! Much appreciated.
