- Dena CooperI’ve been here during the day and liked the relaxed environment for brunch or coffee with a friend. I’d like to come back in the evening for the full night-time music experience. The latte I had was perfection. Loved the coffee, and the vegan food options offered.
- Preethee3.5 stars ⭐️ Love the concept here and the ambiance, but I think the food has gone a bit downhill over the past year or so - particularly at this price point. Note: They no longer do a full brunch service. You order in the front off an abridged ~5 item menu and they bring the food to your table. The salad had good flavoring but the fruit was raw. The Kimchi grilled cheese came out cold and the bread felt a bit old/stale. Coffee was excellent - I had the filter, black.
- Brent SzklarukIncredible vegan food. The entire menu is plant-based! Amazing sound and wifi for working! Highly recommend!
- Nick SmileyMy recent visit to Public Records, a nightclub where patrons expect a certain level of professionalism and courtesy, was utterly disappointing due to the appalling behavior of one particular bartender. On the evening of Wed 31st of January, I encountered a bearded male bartender whose conduct left much to be desired. After purchasing two cocktails, each priced at a hefty $17, I made the decision not to leave a tip. Instead of handling the situation with grace and understanding, this bartender proceeded to berate me in front of my date, loudly declaring that I was "too cheap" and threatening to refuse service for any future cocktails. Being publicly humiliated in such a manner was not only embarrassing but completely uncalled for. It is deeply concerning that a staff member at Public Records would resort to such unprofessional behavior, especially towards paying customers. No one should be made to feel ashamed for making financial decisions within their means. This bartender's outburst not only soured my evening but also cast a shadow over the reputation of Public Records as a whole. It is my sincere hope that management takes swift action to address this issue and ensure that other patrons are not subjected to similar treatment in the future. In conclusion, I urge potential patrons to think twice before patronizing Public Records if this is the type of treatment they can expect from its staff members. Anyhow, the club is full of hedgefund analysts and consultants with erectile dysfunction those days. Sad to see a good place become a heap of garbage.
- Alondra EspinoThis place was great! I didn’t know it was a vegan spot before I arrived (that’s my fault for not checking) but my cousin wanted to go to a listening bar so we went. Unfortunately we went on a Tuesday night (another mistake) and it was basically just a restaurant, which we were a little disappointed about. However we still had a good time. The service was extremely friendly, and I really enjoyed my meal. The cheesecake was fantastic, and our drinks were so tasty. Really recommend this spot!
