✨🫖🌸An enchanting experience at Plant Lyfe Café's Afternoon Tea!⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Nestled in the charming Leslieville neighborhood of Toronto, this gem offers an impeccable Afternoon Tea that left me utterly delighted. The menu was a culinary masterpiece: 🌸 Awaken: The journey began with a refreshing mango sorbet, a perfect palate cleanser to kick off the experience. 🍽️ Savoury Selection: The savoury selection was a true symphony of flavors. From the garlic and herb cream cheese sandwich with crisp cucumber and micro greens to the BBQ pulled jackfruit slider, each bite was a burst of taste. The wild mushroom crostini with caramelized onions and whipped feta was a divine treat. The curried chickn sandwich, featuring curried mayo, chickn salad, and crisp green apple, was a harmonious blend of textures and tastes. 🍰 Sweet Selection: The sweet offerings were a work of art. The pavlova with berries and cream was a dance of textures and flavours! The white chocolate panna cotta with raspberry coulis and butter crumb was an elegant indulgence. The almond ricciarelli was a delightful finale to this sweet symphony. 🥖 Scones: The scones, both savory and sweet, were a highlight. Served with coconut clotted cream, and seasonal fruit preserves, they struck the perfect balance between comfort and luxury. ☕ Tea Pairing: The experience was elevated by the hand-blended, sustainably sourced teas. We opted for the chocolate orange black tea blend, a harmonious mix of black tea, cocoa husks, lemon balm leaves, safflower, and calendula. The choice of oat mylk and coconut mylk was a thoughtful touch. 🏡 Ambiance and Service: The cafe's ambiance was enchanting, making it the ideal setting for a cozy afternoon. Co-owners Lovelina & Munish have created a welcoming space that speaks of love and dedication. The presentation was impeccable, and the service was truly exceptional. Munish's gift of palo santo was a heartwarming gesture that added a special touch to the experience. 👩‍🍳 Culinary Excellence: Lovelina, your culinary mastery shone through every detail of the Afternoon Tea. From the pastries to the sandwiches and scones, each bite was a tantalizing journey that showcased your dedication to excellence. A heartfelt thank you, Plant Lyfe, for an unforgettable Afternoon Tea! We're eagerly looking forward to our next visit to relish in your culinary creations once more. 🫖💐

The Plant Lyfe Cafe is a lovely plant-based/ vegan place with a bright and airy atmosphere. Yes, it's located in the basement, but it feels spacious and bright due to the large front windows, forming a light well. The staff is super friendly and helped me to choose a the right type of plant milk for my iced vanilla lavender latte. I also treated myself with the vegan (and gluten free) chocolate chip cookie 🍪 which was yummy. I took a break and enjoyed my snacks on the outdoor patio. Support this small business!!

Bright basement cafe with relaxing decor and a beach feel. Seating has enough for 15 people. Looks like the menu has an extensive list of fruit and vegetables including fruits bowls, smoothies, cold pressed juice and lunch mains with choices of "beyond meat" protein. Staff are friendly and was able to answer questions about the menu. Coffee is from Balzac's in Toronto. I had the "Kalein It" smoothie which states it has Kale but didn't taste it. It was a good balance of banana, almond butter and the dates. Will eventually try the other smoothies on another run out. Only criticism is I prefer impossible meat and want that option. Really would rate it a 4.5 stars if I could give it. Also sells some plant based cutlery and sustainable materials such as palm straws, brass and coconut spoons, and coconut bowls. Overall: Bright cafe and nice place for a smoothie or vegan lunch on the east end.

Cute little spot to grab a vegan coffee. Well made, nice taste, very friendly staff, and a very serene and clean atmosphere. I'd be interested in trying some food next time.

Cute vegan place on queen street so had to try it. I enjoyed their smoothies especially the one called start up. I like that it had coffee which gave me a good boost for the day. They also have salad bowls and baked goods.
