  Just incredible. There are no words for how impressive this bakery is. The owner is an absolute angel, the desserts are insanely delicious and the aesthetic is perfect. This is my go to for any special occasions. I even have non vegan friends/family that request Pie Pie for their birthdays. I cannot recommend supporting this business enough. My personal favorite flavors are banana split, chocolate strawberry, and nutter butter.

  Very delicious cake as a baker myself this was a beautiful and unique taste . I haven’t mastered vegan cakes but this baker here definitely has made a masterpiece. This was a perfect cake for my birthday celebration . Thank you very much 😇✝️💜 God bless

  I’m so glad I found this bakery. My daughter is vegan and never gets to enjoy desserts. The few vegan things we’d find were usually not great. These baked good do not taste or look vegan and are incredibly delicious. We have been here several times now for birthdays and holidays and will continue to come regularly. It is a bit pricey but worth every penny.

  i had the chocolate hazelnut cake at handlebar and was amazed. the cake itself was moist (not dry at all!) and had a deep chocolate flavor without being too rich. the frosting was also delicious; it was smooth, creamy and flavorful without overpowering or being too sickly sweet. the hazelnuts added the perfect little crunch, and the design was cute too. chocolate cake usually isn’t my favorite, but this cake is probably one of the best vegan cakes i’ve ever had. scratch that, one of the best cakes i’ve had! vegan or not, i recommend trying a slice.

  I can't believe I haven't left a review for PPMD yet! I've been absolutely in love with PPMD for so many years, back when she did pop-ups around Chicago. I am so glad she now has a store front. I cannot recommend this place enough - whether or not you're vegan, you will love these baked goods. The cakes are absolutely outstanding. I've tried several cake slice flavors at restaurants they're served at, plus ordered cakes (and other goodies) here a few times. It's really hard to go wrong with anything - it's just based on your flavor profile preference. The pre-order process is easy to go through to guarantee yourself some goodies. The rotating menu also keeps things fresh and seasonal. Now I only wish she shipped nationwide so I could order from here more often :)
