  Nice small eclectic restaurant serving some delicious Vegan Comfort Food. I was in a rush but stopped in for the Nashville Hot Fried Tofu Sandwich. I asked for it not so spicy, and it was delicious. Perfect temperature, perfect texture, perfect crunch. It was absolutely perfect, and the price was right. They are doing right at Maynard's. Keep up the great work 👍

  Fantastic vegan food. We were on a short 3 day trip to Montreal, and even though there were abundant options to choose from for food we went to this place twice because it was so good. The milkshakes are absolutely incredible. The vegan poutine was also very well made. Next time we are in Montreal we will certainly stop to try the oyster mushroom dish. The restaurant itself was cozy and well arranged. Love this spot!!!

  In Montreal and this city amazes me with its many vegan options. This is one of the jewel of MTL perhaps. Nice cozy atmosphere and great people on the counter and love that this is not a chain, but rather a small restaurant. BBQ Sandwich - home made bun(!), thick extra firm tofu and its toppings. Who needs meat when you have such good sandwich. The tofu a tad bud thick. But good overall Pogos - two freshly fried pogos in a thick hotdog. The batter perfect and satisfied a craving that I had for a long time. If you love hotdogs you will love this. Used with the hot sauce provided on the counter-The “forbidden fruit” - it is hot! Loved it. Crunch Wrap Supreme - the moment I saw this I had to try this. The CWS was amazing. The Vegan ground beef was so flavourful. A must try on my list. Wish I could have also tried their poutine, but next time.

  Been going to Maynard ever since they opened and I can say this business has all my respect! They offer super tasty "diner style" vegan food that always leaves us satisfied in a cozy nicely decorated space and the service is always 10/10! The owner really puts effort into his business and it shows! Always a great experience and I recommend it to everyone! Will keep going for as long as possible! - Constructive Criticism - The water glasses look dirty on some of our visits and it makes us abstain from drinking the water there. Other than that I wouldn't change a single thing! Always a great time eating there. :)

  It's been more than a year since I visited Maynard. I had a poutine among other delicious food when I was there. I think about that poutine often - no joke. If you are in the Montreal area and looking for a delicious vegan poutine LOOK NO FURTHER. This is it. Get your butt in there. I live in SW Ontario. Sometimes I fantasize about taking the train just to return to my beloved Maynard. I have never had a poutine that came close to this one. The staff there are wonderful. The atmosphere is relaxed and comfortable. The food is divine. Go now! Maynard, I miss you so. 🥹
