  My husband and I came for international ice cream for breakfast day and it did not disappoint!! The ice cream is vegan but absolutely does not have that typical almost powdery vegan ice cream texture. I truly did not feel or taste a difference from regular ice cream! They had drip coffee and affogatos - only had the coffee but it was great coffee - the staff is friendly, the owner walked around chatting with the customers which was so nice and gave us that small town everyone knows each other vibe. Great place to take your kids for a treat or to go on a date and it's in a great location. Highly recommend!

  Amazing ice cream and super cute space! Love Kate’s vegan ice cream. It’s so creamy and wonderful, I’m used to dairy free ice cream being crusty and dense. Kate’s is fluffy and smooth, absolutely impressive. There are a ton of flavors both signature and seasonal. Wonderful selection compared to what I’m used to. It isn’t just fruit sorbets, my favorite was peanut butter brittle. Love Kates!

  Java Chip and Cookie Monster flavors were darn delish. I had my first ever vegan waffle cone! It was amazing! Thank you for making this an all vegan ice cream shop!

  Not a fan of plant-based anything but Kate's ice cream is amazing. I went with two friends and none of us had had plant-based ice cream like this before. The person attending to us gave each of them two different samples of their choice when we told her it was our first time. The ice cream was creamy and delicious, totally worth it. My cup was empty before I remembered reviews was a thing and that's an excellent thing. Update: It was good so I went back. Remembered to take pictures this time. Four different flavours. The Rose flavored one was excellent if you like roses- thought it was weird but a good weird.

  As ice cream shops go this place is pretty darn cool. As vegan shops go this place is a dream. Everything here is plant-based so that made it real special when I took my son here and he said "I can have anything?" He was so excited and I was like a highlight of the trip. Portland is now a mega concentrated vegan mecca. This is one of those offerings that you should check out if you're into sweet desserts. I am presently on another fat phase I indulged. We had a ice cream cake that we took home and enjoyed with the family. That thing was amazing
