- Comfy ChrisThe pulse of San Francisco thrummed outside Indochine Vegan. Its bohemian facade, mirroring the raw energy of the Mission District, beckoned me inside. Spicy noodles, my choice of culinary adventure, arrived with the city's characteristic haste. Each spoonful ignited a flavor explosion, a savory melody of spices and fresh herbs dancing on my tongue. The food, steaming and vibrant, spoke volumes of the kitchen's dedication. Yet, a discordant note lingered. The service, efficient but impersonal. Indochine Vegan, a testament to San Francisco's boundless spirit and vegan restaurant options, offered a taste of the unexpected. It stood as a sanctuary, a refuge from the urban chaos, where even the most unexpected corners hummed with the city's vibrant energy.
- ClaireI hope the owners see this review. I always loved the food when I lived in mission and dined in store. Ordered from DoorDash today and food spilled all over the bag so badly. Thb I don’t think it’s the dashers fault. The food items have lots of liquid/sauce and the box container (not spill proof) doesn’t make sense at all. Please consider changing the food container option for third party delivery apps. I bet take outs picked up by eaters would be fine. Here I’m frustrated but had to accept DoorDash only refund 10 dollars to me (I had to discard one item cause the bottom was soaking wet. 😭).
- Sara SullivanFood was decent. However our experience was negatively impacted by the atmosphere. The restaurant is grimy, like really dirty. Both the silverware and chopsticks seemed poorly washed and had some crusty something on them. Our table had not been wiped well and was sticky. But the worst part was the restroom. It was absolutely filthy, like something I’d expect in a gross and dingy dive bar, not a restaurant serving food. I feel like bathroom cleanliness is often reflective of kitchen cleanliness and in this case I’m just praying that I don’t get sick. I really wanted to like this place but I definitely won’t be back.
- Christopher WanHad a great meal. Really liked that it was neither too heavy nor light. The portions are perfect.
- Reina DavéWe went to Indochine for lunch and were really impressed. We got the Spring Rolls, Chow Mein, Sizzling Teriyaki Soy Beef, and the Shiitake Mushroom Sushi Rolls. The service was really fast and the food was all great - amazing portion sizes for the price. The only thing that we didn’t like was the sushi - would not recommend getting sushi from here but everything else was amazing. Will be back to try the other menu items!
