- Marta FeldmanThis has very quickly become my go-to place as I work in the annex and am in this area with friends often. My first recommendation is always Happy Taco/Guerilla Burger- they are Ghost Kitchens located inside of Eva’s originals. I bring all my non-vegan/vegetarian friends to this joint and they are constantly surprised that the food is entirely plant based. And it’s not just that- the food is delicious. If you’re looking for an urban, street food type vibe, this is absolutely the place to go. There’s ample seating given the size of this place which makes it a great stop after a night out, or a lunch break. The staff is always incredibly friendly and helpful- making this locale a real hidden gem. Special mention to the soft serve option- as someone with friends who are lactose intolerant, a vegan soft serve option is incredible to have. And it is delicious- you wouldn’t know the difference! Get the strawberry syrup with the vanilla base and you’re golden.
- Elish ModiHighly recommend! Everything we had was delicious. Tried the following tacos: The Cajun (jackfruit based) and OG (beyond-meat based) And the following vegan cones: berrylicious and peanut butter chocolate We will definitely be back! Thank you
- seth mcgregorThe tacos were just really bad. They had all this gross sauces and fake guacamole. Also the bathroom smelled like someone just threw up, the music was super loud and annoying. But legitimately the tacos just tasted disgusting, took a couple of bites, and couldn't finish
- berkano onakrebTaco kits are legendary such a great idea the Mac quesadillas are amazing.
- Erin McQueenieWe went for Veganuary so we tried different dishes for $5 each - they were all delicious. The Mac and Cheese quesadilla is HUGE and so yummy. The Bandido taco was my favourite, we also tried the Jerk but it was way too spicy, none of us could eat it. Too much sauce and spicy coleslaw. The chips & salsa were good, pretty basic. We also tried to Vegan soft serve chimney cakes and the OG and the Berrylicious were to die for. Would definitely go back!
