Fern & Fika is a plant-based food concept founded by Jonathan Boutin, Therese Lyander and Monika Kontogianni – three entrepreneurs with a passion for healthy eating. Located in Stockholm’s Hornstull district, its name combines the purifying fern plant with the traditional Swedish coffee break, which has been reimagined to foster a community of health-conscious individuals. This cosy café serves nutritious vegan meals made from locally sourced organic ingredients, using zero-waste methods and compostable packaging. The menu features vibrant breakfasts, wholesome brunches, warming mains and energising coffees alongside indulgent desserts by local supplier Unbakery. Naturally free from gluten, refined sugar and additives, their handcrafted dishes promote wellbeing while reducing environmental impact, offering a positive, uplifting approach to food and sustainability.

- GainaTue, 5 Sep 2023 21:26One of my favourite cafes in Stockholm! The food was delicious, I loved the atmosphere and the service was very friendly. I highly recommend their taco salad! I hope they will be able to find a new owner soon so that when I´ll be back I can enjoy their amazing food! Good luck!
- Hei LauTue, 13 Feb 2024 7:26Best sandwich I’ve tried in a while. The environment is nice and the staff is very friendly. It is also a cosy and warm shelter when strong snow is happening outside.
