  I went to Fancy Plants Kitchen today and I just had to come here to tell others about my amazing experience. The food was out of this world delicious. I Moved back to Chicago from LA a few months ago and when I say I’ve been to so many great vegan restaurants BUT Fancy Plants Kitchen tops them ALL!!! It reminds me of one of my favorite restaurants in Venice beach called Plant Food + Wine. Thanks Dustin for being great!! I’ll be back very soon.

  Finally a worthy 5 stars. Love this spot. Location is great. One of the few places you can eat outside in the neighborhood and not have to eat next to cars on the street. Quality fresh ingredients and organic options available. Dishes were all flavorful and our 2 year old ate the plates clean (we had to get 2nds of each dish). Service was good and considerate. I have not had such a good vegan meal since getting to Chicago. In fact, this is probably one of my favorite over all restaurants in Chicago.

  We went for the vegan Valentine’s Day Prix Fixe five course dinner. Wow! It was incredible! The food was innovative, not the same thing I’m accustomed to at upscale vegan. Everything was surprising, flavorful, fun, and gorgeous!!!! I will definitely be back for future events and to try their other menus. So great!!!!

  Excellent food and service!! My non vegan husband loved everything!! Definitely will be back when in the area. We enjoyed the May Tasting Menu plus an added cauliflower appetizer. Everything was freshly made and delicious!

  Absolutely Delicious! Highly recommend the Saag Paneer and Strawberry Shortcake, as they were our favorite if the many dishes we tried. I did the $50 tasting menu, which was well worth the menu as the portions are full plates not tasting size, though I think I could have shared it with my partner as it was A LOT of food. The cheese that were used were all homemade and you could taste the quality. Great date night spot and awesome patio dining area!
