- VanessaOne of my go to’s when I’m in Chicago. I love this place. I get the lox bagel on gluten free bread. It is so yummy! They also always have muffins from Mindful Baking, which I grab a few every time I visit. The Ube Muffin is my now favorite flavor they offer at this time, but they are all good. I prefer when they are on the moist and more gooey side than the over baked. My friend and I love to sit at their outside seating for lunch. When I first started going there (which has been quite a while) everyone working there seemed so happy to help all the time and see us. I would sadly say that we don’t get those employees anymore. None the less, they are still very helpful and I will always stop in for a treat when I’m in town.
- Ben HermanI came in for lunch and it was packed, and there seemed to be just one very harried staff member working everything. I didn’t care for the quiche but the vegan lox was magnificent. Coffee as also good. Eventually they had another staff come in and everyone was super friendly.
- Jeremiah NoonanWonderful! We loved everything! The maple citrus latte was killer. The lox bagel was the best breakfast I had in Chicago. The outdoor seating is lovely. The only thing that I think could have been better was the system for retrieving drinks and food. Otherwise this place has it all. I can’t wait to come back and try more things. Thank y’all!
- Wendy DanceFancy Plants is a cute same peaceful little spot for some great vegan eats. Conducive to work, coffee with a friend or a quick lunch/coffee break it's a not -so-hidden gem! Delish food, creative menu for both food and drink and happy vibes from staff and guests! I wish I could lunch here every day! Also super easy to get to on transit routes& on foot/cycle.
- Disa LaringProbably the blandest breakfast I’ve had in Chicago. The quiche had the texture of pasty pudding, the breakfast croissant had no flavour and the service was pretty cold and unwelcoming. The only side they had was lay’s potato chips and no side salad despite having been open for thirty minutes. Would not go back.
