- Jumana ARThe falafel was fresh and perfectly crispy, with balanced and delicious flavors! Chef Ahmed was friendly, and the atmosphere was comfortable. The prices were reasonable for the quality and quantity you receive.
- deana marie - hello happy veganNestled in the heart of Kensington Market, Eat Nabati - Plant-based Egyptian Street Food is a sanctuary for authentic and satisfying bites. The charming decor inside and a handful of tables outside create a delightful and calming atmosphere, perfectly complementing the culinary experience. The service echoes friendliness, patience, and genuine helpfulness, exemplified by a staff member's thoughtful act of swatting away pesky bees during my outdoor meal and ensuring my food remained impeccable inside—a gesture that left a lasting and appreciative impact. Egyptian Falafel: Fava Bean Falafel in a Pita Indulge in crunchy, flavorful falafel nestled in a pita, adorned with beet tahini, hummus, lettuce, tomato, onions, and pickled vegetables. The addition of beet tahini provides a unique and delicious twist, making each bite radiate with flavor and freshness. Beef Baba Shawarma: A bowl of authenticity featuring rice, hummus, lettuce, tomato, onions, and pickled vegetables. While not stealing the spotlight like the falafel, it boasts well-cooked rice and an overall commendable balance of flavors and textures. A side of pita would have elevated the experience. I couldn't resist the allure of Eat Nabati and visited twice during my short Toronto stay. If I were a local, I'd embark on a mission to savor the entire menu. Eat Nabati stands as a gem in Kensington Market—a place deserving of revisits. The pricing is reasonable, and its convenient location adds to the overall appeal. *join me on my youtube channel as I explore Toronto's vegan scene, featuring Eat Nabati! subscribe for more delicious plant-based content! https://youtu.be/LdQAZvxuo4g
- Jami RochaAbsolutely loved the food, fresh and delicious, Best falafel I have ever had! The sauces that came with falafel were delicious too. I'm not vegan but I gave it a chance to try and it exceeded my expectations. Everything was exceptional and flavorful. I bought - BOGOmenu Baba's Shawarma Plate combo and - Falafel Box I highly recommend it! And detail, I ordered from Uber (buy 1 get 2 promotion) and the dishes were well served.
- OpheliaOne of the things I miss eating since I became vegetarian is Shawarma and I’ve been looking for vegan shawarma for so long, even considered opening my own restaurant since I couldn’t find any but then I stumbled upon this place and I was SO excited, had to go and try it the same day! It was amazing, they got it down to a T that I got scared at one point because the texture was so similar to real meat 😂.
- Holly DunneDelicious vegan food that doesn't make you feel like you're missing out--maybe even the opposite. Very friendly and fast service, too. Pictured: stuffed falafel, "kofta" bowl, "shawarma" bowl, hibiscus drinks.
