  There was a slight mishap with the service charge on the gift certificate I purchased in an earlier review.. The restaurant saw the review and called to explain. It’s good they follow up to clarify the mis-understanding. Food was alright, portion was small but offer unique vegan twist to Vietnamese food.

  This was probably the worst dinner experience I’ve had in a long time. It took 45 minutes after being seated to receive our first drink and course. It was Valentine’s Day so everyone was doing the set menu and it truly felt like they forgot about us. Pretty much every course came with an abnormally large wait time in between. When the dishes finally arrived they were either burnt or cold, but mostly burnt which was extra disappointing. We were also kept on our toes because you never knew which dish or drink pairing would be next and if you didn’t pay attention you might miss one entirely like the couple next to us. The entire meal took so long that we got to watch other couples be seated and leave before we finished. Our reservation was for 6:30 and we got there at 6:35 and were told we had the table until 8:30 which is when the next reservation was. Well I feel so bad for whoever had an 8:30 reservation because we were still waiting for our main dish by then. We actually ended up leaving at 9:30. When it was time to pay, the staff kindly added a 20% gratuity for themselves and didn’t apologize or mention the slow service. Very cheeky considering there was no mention of this fixed gratuity when making the reservation. Needless to say, we will not be coming back which is so disappointing because I was really excited about this place.

  We discovered Chi in February 2022 and have never stopped coming back! We love the food and the atmosphere and the location. It's a unique experience with food you won't find anywhere else! We consider ourselves regulars and highly recommend the Veggie Spring Rolls - but you can't go wrong!

  Just came here for dinner with my friend, and oh my goodness it was incredible! Our server was so nice and well informed, the setting is pretty, the food was AMAZING, and Chi was absolutely lovely!! Chi came out and personally explained the menu and chatted with us, she was so sweet! We felt like we got a Michelin experience haha. We both ordered the beef and rice bowl. It came beautifully presented, and honestly is probably one of the most delicious meals I’ve ever eaten. I had the chocolate mousse for dessert, it was fantastic! I will absolutely will be recommending this to everyone I know! Thank you for a wonderful dinner!

  One of the best restaurants in Vancouver! The food is delectable and sumptuous and the service is extraordinary. We went for the 9 course tasting menu and it was worth it!
