  I’ve never been to a restaurant quite like this. I’m not a vegan. I eat cheese, meat, and everything else that you can imagine, and I have never been particularly interested in alternatives. However, I have several friends with very severe food allergies, and a few of them said this is one of their favorite spots to eat Mexican, and feel safe. So I tried it with them. Wow. Everything on the menu was delicious. I can’t say that the jackfruit was a one-to-one replacement for meat, or that the hibiscus flowers were a one-to-one replacement for brisket, but everything was unique and super tasty. The service was fantastic. I got the taco platter, and they were all really good. The hibiscus flower brisket did have a bit of a gritty texture, but other than that everything was absolutely top notch flavorful. The real highlight came from our server, Eric. I have a baked egg allergy, but I love flan. I have eaten it a few times and not had any reaction, and other times I’ve ended up needing a Benadryl and a really long nap, so when I saw a peach cobbler flan on the menu, I was pumped. When Eric explained that we had to order the whole rodeo menu just to get it, but we had already ordered dinner, I was so disappointed. He went above and beyond and asked the owner if they could make a special plate for me, and they did. It was so good, but it was even more special because he went the extra mile for our satisfaction. Shout out to Eric. Employee of the month. This place is amazing.

  First time having Mexican vegan and it won't be the last from here. This place is a gem, especially when needing vegan and vegetarian options when doing a religious fast. The family, including my dad who for a moment forget he wasn't eating meat, enjoyed their plates. And their guacamole... love the fact that it's not overly mashed and has some chunks. Yeah, we devoured it before I got a pic. Sorry but not sorry. Will definitely keep this place on my list of places to return.

  The best Vegan Mexican Restaurant I've ever been to! I could go here every day. I have recently gone vegan the last few months. I love that I have so many options I am like a kid in a candy store. I want to get it all. Not vegan? No worries! My meat eating friends enjoyed the food too. 🙂 This is Houston's best kept secret.

  My bf and I were visiting Houston and saw this vegan restaurant!! We got there and the service was great and she was very helpful. We got some yummy vegan nachos! We both got the enchiladas! We got some yummy rice and refined beans on the side for our nachos. Absolutely amazing. The potatoes were perfect as well. Everything was SO delicious and felt like it was made with love! 😌🌱💕 next time we’re in the area, we’ll be coming back! Thank you!! :)

  I am not a vegan person or vegetarian, but this food was really good!! I will definitely come back! After the taste of the food, what surprised me the most was the price I paid it was very reasonable!
