In 2016, vegan bakers Jess and Bram launched Europe’s first fully plant-based donut shop, Brammibal’s Donuts. Since then, they have opened locations across Berlin and Hamburg, serving freshly baked donuts made using high-quality ingredients from environmentally conscious local suppliers. This ensures that everything is sustainably produced, from the rich chocolate toppings to the sticky fruity glazes and flavourful coffees. Their menu contains classic donuts, seasonal specials and limited edition treats inspired by regular customers or collaborating celebrities, while the charity donut is a way to support local organisations. Weekly Cake Donuts offer a lighter option, and letter-shaped ones can be used to send messages on special occasions. With this selection of wonderfully indulgent donuts, Brammibal’s inspires eco-friendly choices, building a strong community around plant-based food.

- Agata NowakPeople complain about the price but I think these doughnuts are worth it. Compared to one very famous company you can taste the difference and quality of the ingredients. I bought 4 but only like two of them. Blueberry one and lemon (top left and bottom left on the picture). I would definitely come back to buy the same ones and taste other flavours.
- Vassiliki PapanikolaouTried many different flavours- the best for me was classic cinnamon- need to try this! Really fresh and soft but the other flavours were not that special as expected.
- Anna MartinCan’t complain! You just got to love yourself a good vegan doughnut
- Kasper KirkegaardKinda expensive compared to other places that have better donuts and a bigger section of donuts. The staff was really nice and in the end i got some good donuts. If you are nearby and wish to see a fancy donut shop, try and swing by.
- Lucy LakeyI spent such a long time looking for this place inside a very busy shopping centre, only to find the shelves completely empty, nearly 2 hours before it was due to close. It wasn't easy to find in my opinion. The next day, I decided to order via delivery to avoid disappointment and my, my was I not disappointed. I ordered a box of 6 and they were all very tasty and generously sized. The salted caramel and apple pie were particularly delicious. I've passed other Brammibal's during my time in Berlin and they always seem to be very busy, so I'd advise ordering online or getting there early to avoid disappointment.
