  I've been coming to B&C for years now, and recently got my wedding cake from them as well. They are always very kind, friendly, and helpful. The coffees are always tasty as well as the food and sweets! I love how they are pet friendly, always participating in clothing drives and putting up notices for pets looking for forever homes. The clean and spacious bathroom is also a huge plus. Overall it's a very comfortable atmosphere inside. 10/10 recommend.

  This place is the bees knees. Batter and crumbs is an all vegan bakery and cafe. We live in the neighborhood and are weekly (sometimes even twice weekly) regulars. They have a seasonal drink menu and a ton of fun baked goods to try. If you're in the mood for a latte or two these cool cats are the best at slingin beans. Also, and this might be weird, but make sure you stop in the bathroom for some funky and adorable artwork. Many crumbs to you! ❤️

  Ordered on Uber eats. Got two orange juices in the small bottles. When they came they were this weird dark, oxidized color. Orange juice is not supposed to look like that. I actually went to the store and bought orange juice instead. The color difference says it all. Gross! They shouldn’t be selling bad orange juice. Also ordered a bagel with cream cheese. The cream cheese came on the side and once I put it on it was only enough for half of the bagel. Disappointed and will not buy from here again, even though the bagel was pretty good and the cold brew coffee was good. In response to the restaurant’s reply to my review: you actually can’t see the expiration date of the one in the front. And — yes, now you have received apparently your first complaint on this disgusting orange juice. Hope you take it to heart and make a change. It’s gross.

  My all time favorite cafe and bakery in South Philly with the cutest atmosphere! It’s such a feel good space, with great energy, the cutest decor — you must checkout the restroom, IYKYK, amazing staff and the tastiest coffee and treats ever!

  John was thorough in communicating with me to understand exactly what I wanted for my son’s birthday cake. He even sent images and looked up decorations online after informing they did not do fondant. Ultimately the cake was beautiful and even better, delicious. It made my son’s day to be able to eat his cake because due to his egg allergy, he’s restricted to eating frosting. No one at the party could believe it was vegan. I’ll definitely be ordering from here again!
